Job description:

You will undertake tasks related to provisioning of user & system requirements as well as specifying functional and non-functional requirements for the company’s R&D projects. You will contribute to system architecture requirements and needs in a user perspective vision, while securing transparent data sharing and traceability across stakeholders by participating in pilot implementations and validation these technologies. Also, you will participate in Large Scale Demonstration (LSD) by contributing to the user requirements, user needs, performance metrics, user feedback, and system reliability, while working together with the development team and the projects managers to ensure that real user needs coming from real world are integrated into R&D projects. Participating and contributing to research results such as scientific manuscripts and white papers, coming from the R&D implementation is needed for this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology such as informatics, engineering, agricultural engineering or related fields.
  • MSc or PhD in informatics, engineering, agricultural engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in EU-funded projects.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Proactive, self-driven and able to operate independently with minimal guidance.
  • Comfortable collaborating, negotiating and building relationships with diverse international stakeholders and partners.
  • Ability to develop research & scientific results.

Your role and responsibilities

  • Provide user & system requirements for company’s R&D projects.
  • Specify functional and non-functional requirements to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Contribute to system architecture requirements and needs in a user perspective vision.
  • Employ a structured user requirements methodology, such as Volere, to ensure completeness and alignment with company’s R&D needs.
  • Contribute and deliver both technical and non-technical reports on time, maintaining compliance with quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with end user, stakeholders & multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with project goals and technical work.
  • Contribute to build decision support platforms & digital spaces tailored for stakeholders’ needs.
  • Work with large-scale demonstrators to deliver validated and scalable prototypes.
  • Provide real-time and user-oriented insights for training AI models and corresponding simulations.
  • Secure transparent data sharing and traceability across stakeholders by participating in pilot implementations and validation of these technologies.
  • Support and contribute to data & scenarios needed in digital twin development of the company’s R&D projects.
  • Ensuring that interfaces meet usability and accessibility standards by participating in user testing and benchmarking tasks.
  • Work together with the development team and the projects managers to ensure that real user needs coming from real world are integrated into R&D projects.
  • Participate in Large Scale Demonstration (LSD) by contributing to the user requirements, user needs, performance metrics, user feedback, and system reliability.
  • Participate and contribute to research results and outcomes coming from the R&D implementation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in participating in EU-funded R&D/R&I projects such as H2020, Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, Interreg, EDF, Digital Europe or similar.
  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in informatics, engineering, agricultural engineering or related fields.
  • Strong scientific or academic record.
  • Experience in user/market analysis or technology commercialization.
