Dr. Anastasios Lytos works as a research director in Sidroco Holdings Ltd, Nicosia, Cyprus. He holds a diploma in Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Western Macedonia and a PhD in University of Sheffield. During his studies, he gained twice a scholarship from the Engineers’ and Public Contractors’ Pension Fund (TSMEDE). His research interest involves the exploitation of the current Machine Learning techniques in Text Mining problems, the successful modeling of Natural Language and the optimization of algorithms. He joined Sidroco Holdings Ltd since 2019.
Mr. Konstantinos Kyranou (male) holds B.Sc. at Mathematics (AUTH) and M.Sc. at Data Science (IHU). He is engaged in a variety of projects deriving from HORIZON2020 including but not limited to energy, (smart)grids & IoT. Additionally, he has significant experience working with RDBMS having consulted a major Greek bank. His key responsibilities are to administratively lead projects and provide guidance with the development exercises. He joined Sidroco Holdings Ltd since 2022.
Mr. Ioannis Hadjigeorgiou (male) received his B.Sc. in Computer Science (2022) from University of Nicosia (Nicosia, Cyprus). His major research interests include Software Development and Cybersecurity. His involvement in several projects gave him the expertise of leading several crucial tasks like leading and coordinating integration activities of numerous partners. He joined Sidroco Holdings Ltd as a software engineer since 2022.
Mr. Zisis Batzos studied Electrical & Computer Engineering (integrated B.Sc. & M.Sc.) in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th. Greece), where he graduated with distinction. His main research interests are in the domains of Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning and Computer Vision. He has been also engaged in several projects including various cutting-edge technologies such as Virtual Reality, Extended Reality, Internet of Things, Robotics and Autonomous Vehicles. He is working as a Project Manager and AI Engineer at Sidroco Holdings Ltd. having managerial responsibilities and designing technical solutions in a variety of R&D projects for European research and innovation programmes (Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, Erasmus+). He joined Sidroco Holdings Ltd since 2022.
Mr. George Andronikidis (male) earned a B.Sc. degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Thessaly and is currently pursuing a M.Sc. degree in Data Driven Computing and Decision Making at the University of Patras. With his participation in several HORIZON2020 projects he has implemented various Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms in cyber security. He is passionate about research and has interests in several areas such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Internet-of-Things, Natural Language Processing, Autonomous driving, and Blockchain. He joined Sidroco Holdings Ltd since 2023.
Mr. Paris-Alexandros Karypidis works as a software engineer in Sidroco Holdings Ltd. He received the Diploma degree (5 years) from the Dept. of Informatics and Telecommunications Eng., University of Western Macedonia, Greece, in 2016. His main research interests are in the area of big data analytics and mainly focus on machine learning and visualization. He participates as a software engineer for national and EU-funded projects.He joined Sidroco Holdings Ltd since 2019.
Mr. Eleftherios Fountoukidis works as a software engineer in the field of information security in Sidroco Holdings Ltd. He received the B.Sc. degree from the Dept. of Applied Informatics and Multimedia of the Technological Educational Institute of Crete. His research interests include information security, web applications and Internet-of-Things. He joined Sidroco Holdings Ltd since 2021.
Dr. Dimitrios Margounakis works as a software engineer in the field of computer technology. He concluded his basic studies in Informatics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2003. He holds a Master’s certificate in Business Computing from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2005) and a Ph.D. in Computer Music from the Dept. of Informatics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (2013). His research interests include computer science, business management and programming. He actively participates in EU-funded projects. He joined Sidroco Holdings Ltd since 2019.
